What are DOT exams?

What happens during a DOT exam?

During a medical exam, your provider evaluates your eyes, heart, mouth, throat, and general appearance. They assess your breathing, heartbeat, reflexes, limbs, and nervous system to look for signs of illnesses, diseases, and injuries.

You might require drug testing, hearing and vision screenings, blood tests, urine testing, heart-function tests, lung-function testing, or other diagnostic tests.

What happens after a DOT exam?
